Choose an analytics date range

The date range sets the time boundary for every dashboard metric and report. Premely includes realtime, rolling, calendar-based, all-time and custom ranges.

Use the shortest range that fully contains the behaviour or outcome you are investigating, then add a relevant comparison when you need context.

   Use Realtime for current activity

   Realtime covers the latest 30 minutes. Use it to confirm that recent activity is arriving, not to judge a long-term trend.

   Use rolling ranges for recent performance

   Choose Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 28 days or Last 91 days when the question is about a recent window that moves with the current time.

   Use calendar ranges for reporting cycles

   Choose Today, Yesterday, Month to date, Last month, Year to date or Last 12 months when the reporting cycle matters. Last month is a complete calendar month.

   Use a custom range for a specific event

   Choose inclusive start and end calendar days for a launch, campaign or incident. Premely converts those days into exact reporting boundaries in the site's timezone.

   Add the right comparison

   Use Previous period for the immediately preceding range of the same duration, or Year over year for the corresponding range one year earlier.
